无源无线测温系统基于声表面波（SAW）传感器，通过传感器谐振频率的变化来感知被测参量的变化。系统主要由声表面波温度传感器（即探头）和基于脉冲雷达原理的温度读取器和后台监控三部分组成。

The passive wireless temperature measuring system is based on the sound surface wave (SAW) sensor, which is used to detect the variation of the measured parameters through the variation of the sensor's resonant frequency. The system consists mainly of sound surface wave temperature sensor (probe head) and pulse radar based temperature reader and background monitoring. 

传感器无需供电，可方便安装在高压带电体被测点上，准确的跟踪发热点的温度变化。传感器与读写器相连的接收天线之间无线通信，不影响高压绝缘，安全性能好，且每个信号读写装置可对应多个探测点，即插即用，便于扩大规模和系统升级；信号读写器将温度信号传输至后台监控系统；后台监控采用时分复用或频分复用等方式同时控1~100 个信号读写器，而每个信号读写器可同时对应多个声表面温度传感器，整个系统可同时在线监测几百、上千个电体被测点的温度。
